Much of my training has been “in the trenches” working with and being mentored by some of the best Realtors® in the business. Beyond my “real world” training, I have the following Real Estate Designations;
ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative) – The ABR is the benchmark of excellence in Realtor buyer representation. This coveted designation is awarded to real estate practitioners by the Real Estate Buyer’s Agent Council (REBAC) of the National Association of Realtors. ABR designees must meet specified educational and practical experience criteria set forth by REBAC. Less than 8% of Realtors nationwide have completed the required educational and experience requirements of REBAC and received their ABR Designation.
e-PRO® Certified – The e-PRO certification is the official technology certification program awarded by the National Association of Realtors. Real estate professional obtaining the e-PRO certification have dedicated time and effort toward mastering the latest internet and social media technologies in order to create an online presence to reach today’s hyper-connected consumers.

Prior to real estate my career was centered around technology automating processes for some of the largest financial institutions in the country. This not only required designing and developing software but more importantly in managing and documenting projects to insure that all bases were covered in order to meet designated timelines. Probably the most important skill was in working directly with clients and the ability of using non technical jargon to not only identify and prioritize functional requirements, but in also designing the most productive and user friendly interface in order to maximize efficiency and success.
The ability to define requirements, attention to detail, the ability to meet deadlines and interacting with clients all contributed to my success during 30+ years working in technology. These same skills transfer to real estate. Whether you are buying or selling real estate, complete and proper documentation is critical to protect your interests and to insure the transaction proceeds as smoothly and timely as possible. It’s my job to make certain you are comfortable with and understand all the documents you are signing, after all, this is most likely the biggest purchase you will ever make.

As a former Traffic Commission member and active church member I believe it’s important to serve others. Because of my long term passion for photography I’m active in the photography group of the Knox County Art League where I am a member of the board of directors.
